OneBlock

OneBlock is a fresh challenge game mode coming to EverForge. You spawn alone on a single block floating in the sky, and every time you mine it a new block appears. As you keep digging, the block passes through different phases — and your island grows from one lonely block into anything you can build.

The mode

How OneBlock works

OneBlock is a well-known Minecraft challenge, and we're bringing it to EverForge in our own style.
  1. 1Start on a single block floating in the sky.
  2. 2Mine the block and another appears in its place — each break can produce something different.
  3. 3The block moves through phases as you mine, from simple earth and wood to rarer materials.
  4. 4Expand your island, set up your base and push through every phase.
  5. 5Play it your way — survive, build, or race friends to the end of the phases.

The journey

20 phases to master

Every 15,500 blocks the magic block moves into the next phase — each one brings its own blocks, surprises and dangers. After the last phase, it loops back to the beginning.

At launch

Your island, your way

Your first /ob command creates your island automatically. Island teams hold up to 4 players, each island gets a 50-block protected area, and resets are unlimited if you ever want a fresh start. A standard Nether and End are open to explore, and phase progress shows on your boss bar or action bar.
Getting there

Connect to the server as normal, then run /server oneblock and /ob oneblock.

Rewards

Every phase brings new blocks and surprises, and the magic block can spawn loot chests of increasing rarity. The EverPass battlepass runs through OneBlock too, so quests and Pass XP keep building while you mine.

Useful commands

  • /ob

    Teleports you to your island (creates it on first use).

  • /ob count

    Shows your current phase and progress.

  • /ob phases

    Opens the phases menu.

  • /ob bossbar

    Toggles the phase progress boss bar.

  • /ob actionbar

    Toggles the phase progress action bar.

  • /ob respawnBlock check

    Respawns the magic block if it ever goes missing.

  • Island bank

    Your island has its own shared bank for team funds.

  • Biomes

    Change your island's biome whenever you like.

  • Island border

    A clear border marks the edge of your protected island.

  • Challenges

    Complete challenges for extra goals and rewards.

  • Island chat

    Talk privately with your island team.

  • Separate inventories

    Your OneBlock inventory is kept apart from the main world.

  • Island fly

    Fly around your own island once you've earned it.

  • Island level

    Every island has a level that grows as you build.

  • Island likes

    Show some love — like other players' islands.

  • Island top

    A leaderboard ranks the best islands on the server.

  • Twerk for trees

    Sneak-dance near saplings to grow them faster.

  • Island visits

    Visit other players' islands to explore and get inspired.

  • Welcome warp signs

    Set up warp signs so anyone can teleport to your island shop or build.

Battlepass

The battlepass is back

The battlepass is back on OneBlock. Level up your EverPass as you play — quests, progression and rewards carry over to the new mode.

EverPass

Your season pass works on OneBlock too. Complete quests, earn Pass XP and claim rewards while you mine through the phases.
